1. About BASHAN

BASHAN assists individuals, investors, and business owners in organizing evidence, preparing structured case chronologies, and coordinating with independent legal or professional advisers for complex cross-border matters.

BASHAN is not a law firm, does not act as legal counsel, and BASHAN does not provide reserved legal services in England and Wales and does not act as your solicitor or barrister.

2. Beta Service

BASHAN is provided on a "beta" testing basis. By accessing or using BASHAN, you acknowledge that the service, software workflows, user interfaces, and automated AI interactions are undergoing continuous development and testing.

Features, operational processes, availability, and AI outputs may be modified, updated or temporarily unavailable where reasonably necessary for development, maintenance, security or operational reasons.

3. Using BASHAN AI

BASHAN AI is an automated intake tool designed to guide users in structuring case facts, dates, entities, and evidence summaries.

• Preliminary Output: All information, prompts, and summaries produced by BASHAN AI are preliminary and for initial structuring only. AI output may contain errors or omissions and does not constitute formal legal findings or legal advice.
• No Case Acceptance: Interacting with BASHAN AI, receiving an AI summary, or completing an AI conversation does not mean your case has been accepted for formal coordination or paid service work.
• No Decision-Making: BASHAN AI does not make binding legal decisions or provide a final legal opinion on the merits of a claim.

4. Initial Case Assessment

Submitting information through our online assessment form or AI chat module constitutes a request for a preliminary review of your matter.

An initial case assessment is exploratory only. It does not establish a lawyer-client relationship, create a formal service contract, or obligate BASHAN to accept your matter for further case preparation.

5. User Responsibilities

When using BASHAN, you agree that:

• All information, facts, dates, and background details you submit are you will provide information honestly and as accurately as you reasonably can, and will correct material errors if you become aware of them.
• You hold the lawful authority and right to share any information, documents, or data provided to BASHAN.
• You will not submit misleading, fraudulent, or malicious information.

6. Documents and Evidence

Users may voluntarily upload documents, correspondence, contracts, court filings, or evidence for case preparation purposes.

• Original Documents: You must retain original copies of all uploaded documents. Do not send sole physical original records to BASHAN.
• Document Storage: BASHAN is not intended to be a permanent document archive. You should retain your own copies of all documents. Information and uploaded documents will be handled and retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Fees and Paid Work

Initial case assessment submissions during the beta phase are governed by these Terms. If BASHAN agrees to perform paid case preparation or structured file services following an initial assessment, such work will be governed by a separate written service agreement.

Separate Agreement Required: Any paid work or fee-based engagement requires a separate, explicit written agreement . Any paid work or fee-based service will be subject to separate written terms agreed before the paid work begins.

8. Independent Lawyers, Experts and Other Professionals

Where appropriate and upon your explicit request, BASHAN may assist in coordinating with independent legal practitioners, experts, or professional advisers.

• Independent lawyers or advisers are separate third parties and are not employees or agents of BASHAN.
• Independent lawyers, experts or other professionals may have their own engagement terms, professional responsibilities and fees, depending on the arrangement between you and the legal practitioner.
• BASHAN does not provide legal representation or supervise independent legal practice.

9. No Guarantee of Outcome

BASHAN makes no guarantees regarding your matter. Specifically, BASHAN does not guarantee:

• Acceptance of your case for formal coordination or preparation;
• Securing legal representation from independent law firms;
• Obtaining third-party litigation funding;
• Securing financial compensation, damages, or any specific legal or commercial outcome.

10. Third-Party Services

The BASHAN website and platform rely on infrastructure provided by third-party technology providers (such as hosting, analytics, and database services). Third-party technology services may experience interruptions, changes or outages outside BASHAN’s reasonable control.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the BASHAN platform. Prohibited activities include:

• Submitting false, defamatory, or unlawful material;
• Attempting to breach, probe, or compromise platform security;
• Using automated scrapers or bots to extract platform content or AI models;
• Impersonating any individual or entity.

12. Intellectual Property

All software code, visual design, brand assets, logos, text copy, AI prompts, and feature structures on BASHAN are the intellectual property of BASHAN or its licensors. You are granted a limited, revocable license to access the platform for personal case assessment purposes.
You retain any rights you lawfully hold in documents, evidence and other materials you submit to BASHAN. You grant BASHAN permission to use those materials only as reasonably necessary to provide, operate and improve the service, subject to the Privacy Policy.

13. Privacy and Personal Information

Our collection, use, and protection of personal information are detailed in our Privacy Policy.Personal information is collected and processed in accordance with the BASHAN Privacy Policy. Please review the Privacy Policy before submitting personal information or documents. the data handling practices described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Service Availability and Changes

BASHAN beta features may be modified, updated, paused or withdrawn where reasonably necessary for development, maintenance, security or operational reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

15. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.BASHAN AI outputs and initial assessments are preliminary and may contain errors or omissions. They should not be treated as a substitute for independent legal or other professional advice. Any additional liability provisions relating to paid work will be set out in the separate written terms agreed for that work.

16. Suspension or Termination

BASHAN may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary because of unlawful use, a security risk, serious misuse, or a material breach of these Terms. Where reasonably practicable, BASHAN may provide notice before taking such action.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms govern the relationship between BASHAN and the user only. These Terms do not govern or determine the substantive law applicable to your underlying legal dispute or cross-border matter.

Governing law jurisdiction and court forum: These Terms and the relationship between BASHAN and the user are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that may apply under applicable law. The courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
This section applies only to the relationship between BASHAN and the user. It does not determine the law or jurisdiction applicable to the user’s underlying dispute, investment, claim or cross-border matter.

18. Changes to These Terms

BASHAN may update these Terms from time to time. The current version and its effective date will be published on the website. Material changes affecting existing paid services will also be subject to any separate written service terms and applicable law.
